Il travaille à donner au résultat finale une harmonie en recherchant avec pragmatisme et style une cohérence entre les différentes éléments : lumière, mobilier, art, matières et couleurs. Pour atteindre son objectif, il a décide de trouver de repenser les espaces dédiés au rangement. Il conçoit en 1953 ce système de panneaux amovibles en acier et en noyer où viennent s’imbriquer d’élégantes tables ou armoires en bois. Finalement, malgré son année de conception, ce système de panneaux est une solution moderne, esthétique et fonctionnelle pour un stockage dynamique. His idea was to create a harmonic overall impression where space, light, furniture, art, materials and colours interplayed. Therefore it was natural for him to work with all functions in the room, including storage. In the 1950’s Finn Juhl designed a series of more industrial-type furniture for the company Bovirke, which were clearly inspired by Charles Eames. The system activated the walls for storage in an integrated way. Cabinets and shelves can be placed as you please. The system allows mixing different sorts of wood and colours.
